It is a very small beach that is in a Cove surrounded by a few hills. In the hills there are a few bungalows and a couple of restaurants, one on each side of the beach. From the top the view is very nice, but the most beautiful is the sea. As soon as you get to the water – which is absolutely crystal clear – you have lots of fish swimming around. They are thousands and many types. To go deeper they appear more and more but still there, a few meters from the shore.

Can hours, days in the water be amaze you with life that there is in that tiny piece of beach. I felt like the snow white from the sea while swimming these days in Ao Leuk. Instead of birds and butterflies had a multitude of colorful fish coming and going to my around. A fantasy
Another wonder of beach is Bottle Beach. It lies on Ko Phangan, an island to the South of Ko Tao and North of Ko Samui. This beach is beautiful and the best thing is – at least in that date there was almost nothing of people! We were so few that we met half of the tourists and locals who had. Yucatan, in addition to excellent cuisine, natural wonders and beautiful traditions… has magical creations, where our craftsmen left their essence and culture in each creation. One of the products of greatest interest is undoubtedly the hammock, an icon of our state.

Discovered by Conquistadors in the Antilles, Haiti from perhaps meaning ” tree”, because the favorite place to hang it between two trees, the hammock came to the Yucatan Peninsula in the fifteenth century and then the usual sleeping on it was adopted by the Yucatan, to make it a staple.

Made of a material principle characteristic of this land, sisal yarn, it took a long time before they develop with thread or crochet cotton to yarn made from nylon, as is done today.

Some believe that the hammock is of Polynesian origin, but so ingrained in our habits, we do not know if it really was brought or invented also in Yucatan.

The hammock is certainly an article to rest and relax. To use it requires some practice, especially if you have restless sleep.

A destination that most often have in mind is Hawaii.  The idea of ​​being on the beaches, enjoying a warm and relaxing atmosphere with people, alone is a great temptation.

Fiji Islands vacation!

Although we have already passed the hot summer season, there are still several places that lend themselves as ideal destination for any season, you talk about the majestic Fiji, no doubt an offer trips that any tourism company placed in  the number one position among its vacation packages.

After the beach season we had to do some sightseeing.  Ubud is the cultural destination of choice for people in Bali.  Usually people go to a resort a few days and then passed into Ubud to see a bit of Balinese culture.

A few years ago had to be authentic and should be a typical Balinese village with its traditions, but is now fully focused on tourism town full of hotels and shops.  Nonetheless, Ubud is a good place to get good rooms at affordable prices and rent bikes.

So besides giving us a ride the first day of Ubud and its environs, where you can see rice fields, the most we have done has been to make miles on the bike ( this time it was pink).

To the north are a few interesting temples, and along the road you can reach the Batur volcano and lake.  The view is pretty good and this volcano is not active which is an advantage. Read the rest of this entry »

White Chicks Beach is within an excellent fishing landscape is really attractive to all those who visit.  This beach has a huge cliffs and rocks that captivate all who visit this beautiful beach. Beach de las Rubias is captivating, not only by the magnificent landscape that surrounds it by its difficult access, which makes it an ideal beach to be visited by the most risky.  Is a suitable beach for swimmers in the region and tourists, but does not have some access copies.

Mexota Sandy Tapia de Casariego, beach is beautiful, like a monument, you feel like a palace but built in a natural setting with gray rocks, greenery and background of the Cantabrian Sea.  Very fine sand and a beautiful cream color, which changes depending on the time of day.
