One of the major cities of India, Mumbai is the capital of Maharashtra and the center of business and finance. Mumbai is one of the most popular cities in the world. Mumbai is the group of seven islands and is named after the goddess “Mumbadevi” worshiped by fishermen. Located on the island Salsette in western Maharashtra. The city has a port, which handles half the passenger traffic of Mumbai along with a natural harbor and cargo center.

People because of their business opportunities, have an intermediate and high standard of living in Mumbai. It has the largest financial institutions like National Stock Exchange, the Bombay Stock Exchange, the Reserve Bank of India and the headquarters of many leading companies. Apart from that Mumbai is known for Bollywood (the seventh to the market in India). Thousands of people come here and fight here for years, to enter the film industry. Although many fans of the Bollywood actors and actresses come here to take your visions and distribute autographs. When you visit this place is that the city never sleeps, even at midnight the shops and hotels are open. It’s a little about compared to Las Vegas, because it shows a youthful fun-filled night life with discos, restaurants.

The main parts of the city should not miss seeing by tourists or visitors are Marine Drive, known as Queen’s necklace, you will find Hanging Gardens and Kamala Nehru Park, where you can enjoy with your family and friends. Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, formerly known by the name of the Queen of England, Victoria. In Terminus shows his beautiful sculpture with fine structures and intricate designs of animals and birds that are worth seeing. Also features places like Elephant Caves, Prince of Wales Museum and many more. To experience the essence of life in Mumbai has to go for long walks on Chowpatty and enjoy the delicious dishes like: wada pav, pani puri and pav Bhaji but do not forget to drink the coconut milk and fresh cream. Take a walk at night to see the whole city illuminated with lights that give a completely different perspective of Mumbai.
