Practicing winter and hiking in snow breaks
The Val d’Aran Valley is the only Atlantic character of Spain and is located in a privileged area for its snow. It consists of numerous side valleys that provide a variety of possibilities for practicing winter and hiking in snow breaks. The proximity to the National Park area Aigüestortes configured as one of the most striking of the Pyrenees.
With the aim of gathering all the information published on this area, create a new guide, complementing the classical tours of the valley, with other unique outputs, offering a choice of 75 routes of different levels. Has not sought to make a comprehensive description of all the possibilities of the valley, rather it is intended to serve as a starting point to visit the area, which can lead us to explore new routes or have already defined outputs.
The 75 routes are shown with a path on the map and representative color photographs and a detailed route description and all information necessary for replication: the starting point, difficulty, direction, approximate time, recommended time and unevenness. These proposals were added to the high Pyrenees route par excellence: “Carros de Foc” skiing, beautiful journey that leads us to find shelter Aiguestortes National Park and across the regions of Aran, and Ribagorza Pallars.
In addition, due to the high growth that is occurring between mountain enthusiasts use pairs, each tab contains the information necessary to make the routes that can be done on skis, but in this case snowshoeing.
