The starting point in this adventure is the city of Trujillo, where we expect tempting proposals for relaxation, and archaeological attractions.
And that is just 15 minutes from downtown is Huanchaco Trujillo. A resort where surfers find traditional as well as horses of reeds, which for years were a symbol of the north and now I have to cross the Sea of Grau in an authentic way. The cost of the trip is S/.80 on average and you can negotiate the price with the fishermen who remain close to the rafts.
Huanchaco is also the scene of sports championships and home to several surfing schools, which teach children and adults in this practice. La Posa, Sun Kella, The Elio, La Punta del Muelle and Curve are the areas most frequented by runners of all levels.
